Headstone Horrors
This Town Called Purgatory – Headcheck Records
Welcome to the nightmare, where the dead walk the earth, the hills are for hanging and the fog bites back. This is the realm of Headstone Horrors, a place that has you peering through your hands but that they call home. Being a band means their method of attack using music leaves you pretty much defenceless. You have no choice but to succumb to the catchy punk tunes. That’s how they get you, in through your ears then straight to your brain. They’ve taken a little while to hone their deadly sound and sharpen their scythes but with This Town Called Purgatory it’s pretty undeniable that Headstone Horrors are now a force to be reckoned with. Containing these undead is no longer an option. Too many have been infected and now it seems only a matter of time before they take over. If the mortally challenged ever did start becoming active again one thing’s for certain, you’d want them to sound like Headstone Horrors do right now. At least that way you could enjoy the zombie apocalypse, because the soundtrack would already have eaten your brains.
