It’s OK to be angry but without direction all the energy is lost. Putting a positive spin on raging at an unfair world are Shooting Daggers who channel their ire perfectly through the medium of music. Their sound mixes garage punk and grunge with the production on this album suitably lo-fi. What sets this trio apart is their writing. While it’s not ground breaking it isn’t without its stylish moments, and it has groove aplenty. You get some well performed harmonies too in those rare calmer interludes. You just know that every song here will kill it live too. Love & Rage is built on personal experiences, but it speaks for many. It’s a rallying cry for unity and support that deserves to be heard.
