Infected Rain

Endorphin – Napalm Records

There’s a genuine rage inside of vocalist Lena that transfers so well to record that she comes across as just a little bit frightening. We have plenty of female vocalists doing the heavier music now but there’s something really authentic about both the singer and the music with Infected Rain. The Moldovans have steadily built a strong fan base in Europe and this latest release could well propel them into being recognised more globally. The music has a fresh metalcore vibe to it but has a quite significant amount of clean vocals along with some softer moments. This gives Endorphin some serious depth. Tight musicianship and crisp production complete the job of making this a real winner. Infected Rain sound like they’re ready to take the next big step up the music ladder.
