There Is No More Madness Here – Rat Records/Louder Than War
Taking the middle ground between punk and metal and advancing it into the modern era System Of Hate tick most boxes with this latest album. There’s a distinct feeling on occasion of déjà vu but not enough to detract from the fact that There Is No More Madness Here is a thoroughly well thought out set of songs. It’s a record that sees the Barnsley mob move up a gear and get a bit more frenetic from what they’ve delivered in the past. The up tempo feel suits the band and their style of playing with the added bonus that they may draw in a few open minded thrash fans too. Punk music is evolving and System Of Hate are showing that this is a positive thing.
