News: Dead Wax drop new single plus tour dates.

Blend metal, dubstep, drum & bass with blood, sweat and grime and you’re sure to end up with DeadWax as a result. The band have carved out a fresh, distinctly UK sound that is undeniably theirs. High-energy genre fusion paired with environmental responsibility and the importance of human connection and sincerity. New single ‘Famous Style’ hammers that ethos home, delivering it with urgency and attitude.

‘’Famous Style’ is a vent of frustration at what I thought I wanted growing up, to be a famous rockstar. But as we grow into maturity it’s clear the reality of life in the public eye is not all that’s told to you as a kid. We see it all the time now, stars falling from grace and being immediately tossed aside for the “next big thing”, or people who have been so isolated from the rest of society that they truly believe whatever thoughts they have are some sort of revelation that normal people need to bear witness to. I think our vision of what success is as a band now is different. In a good way. And hopefully any success we do get from our art doesn’t wind up changing that.’

2025 saw the independent band sell out headline shows from Leeds to London, packing out 100-150 capacity rooms across the nation. They stormed stages at BoomTownLeeds Fest & Burn It Down before jetting off to their debut EU show in the Czech Republic, closing out the Barevna Planeta festival. All this as well as a Skindred support slot and a stomping UK tour supporting masked nu-metallers BLACKGOLD – DeadWax are far from new to the stage.

The band have just announced a string of UK appearances this year as well as two headline dates in LONDON and BRISTOL, with more to follow!
