Two new voluntary roles are now open – join us for 2026!
Devolution Magazine is looking for two passionate, creative individuals to join our incredible team. People who live and breathe the alternative scene and want to be part of something special.
These roles are voluntary, but you’ll be joining a team driven by heart, passion, and genuine love for the alternative music, fashion, art, culture, lifestyle, and community we have championed. You’ll be supported, guided, and welcomed into a crew that works hard, laughs harder, and always has each other’s backs.
We’re looking to fill both roles by the end of March 2026.
Social Media & Digital Content Assistant
We’re looking for someone who loves the online world and knows how to keep a community buzzing.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Uploading press releases and updates to the website
- Sharing content across all of our social platforms
- Creating stories, reels, and short?form content
- Helping to grow and engage our follower base
- Keeping the Devolution voice loud, proud, and active
Perfect for someone who’s organised, creative, and excited to help amplify the artists and stories we feature.
Interviewer for DeVlog – Devolution’s YouTube Channel
We’re searching for a fresh face to join our video team. Someone with personality, confidence, and a genuine love for the scene who isn’t shy about being in front of a camera.
You’ll be:
- Conducting face?to?face and Zoom interviews
- Appearing on the DeVlog Devolution YouTube channel
- Bringing your own energy, curiosity, and charm to every conversation
- Representing the magazine at events, shows, and press opportunities
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who wants to build experience in presenting, journalism, or media.
To keep things fair and to avoid conflicts of interest, we’re only accepting applications from people who do not currently actively work in these roles for any other magazine or website.
