Angelus Apatrida

Angelus Apatrida – Century Media Records

From its very first second ‘Angelus Apatrida’ hits you full in the face with a ferocity that then continually forces through track after track after track. Surprisingly tuneful for thrash, Spain’s finest metal masters actually manage to supply a few sing along moments (‘The Age Of Disinformation’ and ‘Indoctrinate’ being a couple of culprits). Never a dull moment, this 8-legged band of brothers are tight as you like throughout; solid and unique. It’s thrash , but not quite as we know it – performed with a confidence that comes from the band’s two decade career. Yet Angelus Apatrida – the band and the album – sound so fresh.
