Revolver – The Label Group/INgrooves

Eight tracks of brilliance – that’s essentially what ‘Revolver’ is. Straight from the opening classic ‘Long Way Home’, it’s clear these guys mean business. This album is full of rocking and road trip feel good tracks. It’s live for today fare. Going on a 100 mile round trip? Stick this on. Going a mile up the road? Yep, you’ve guessed it – stick this on. Stuck in Lockdown doom? You know what to do. Play this album and pretend you are in a bar with your bestest friends, chatting, laughing, smiling and … hugging. What does that even feel like anymore? ‘Revolver’ is a good time in record form. ‘Fly’ and ‘Breathe’ are shots of lyrical positivity. There are, for lack of a better description, some really raaaacckkkiiin’ tracks on here. Edgy, slamming grooves which are as elegant as they are gritty. In conclusion? Really, really good.
