Remembering an absolute legend today ✨

Three years ago, we lost this incredible woman. Sylvia was a force to be reckoned with. An absolute powerhouse who continued to inspire, educate and love so many of us. Sylvia was a huge beacon of light and had the most beautiful soul. 🖤

It is hard to believe that Sylvia passed away three years ago today. She was an amazing woman who harnessed her fury and sorrow and disbelief at the tragedy of Sophie’s loss and channelled them into making our world a safer and more equitable place for alternative people. We remember her especially today and the amazing legacy she left behind. In a world where division and intolerance seem ever-more in the ascendant, the Foundation she shaped is as relevant today as ever. And needed even more. We will continue her mission to educate to change mindset to difference, challenge prejudice and advocate for the alternative community. To all of you who stand by our side and hold our mission dear, thank you. The community had her heart and she said at every presentation she ever delivered “We have the best supporters in the world.” We absolutely do. We all remember you today, Sylvia.

Raven Records will be making history as the first record shop to have a presence at the festival, featuring a curated selection of metal music, merchandise, and wide range of alcohol-free drinks and metal inspired coffee.
