Latest offering ‘A Thousand Little Deaths’ sees the Dutch six piece truly come of age. With themes of love, loss and death perfectly suited to the symphonic nature of the writing every song hits the spot. There’s a lovely delicate layering on the production which gives every instrument breathing space, and of course the cherry on the top, those beautiful, soulful vocals. This is less a step forward and more a giant leap. Blackbriar just levelled up.
