Life And Death In The Wasteland – Self Released

Tearing it up like a tornado Crashface epitomise where music is at right now. They don’t just ignore boundaries, they are unaware of their existence. The result is an EP that jolts you awake and keeps on pummelling until the final note. Punk by nature the influences take in rock, electronica, metal, dance and every other corner of the music spectrum. There are touches of The Prodigy here and NuMetal there. Wargasm’s Sam Matlock adds his substantial presence to ‘Maniac’. Everywhere there’s this gleeful danceable beat and fun time feeling. It makes you wish you could bottle its essence for when you need a pick me up. The writing exudes confidence while the production manages to be both high quality with a garage feel to it at the same time.   ‘Life And Death In The Wasteland’ has a glorious personality, like that mate you have that’s a bit of a nutter but always has your back. A press play and hit repeat gem.
