Video Premiere: Dead Flesh Premiere New Video ‘Born Into The Meat Grinder’

Announcement Comes Following Band’s Inclusion At Bloodstock On August 11th!

Devolution Magazine are happy to announce the premiere of the new video from British deathcore quintet Dead Flesh; ‘Born Into The Meat Grinder’! The track is taken from the band’s new EP “Dehumanise” which was released on April 28th, 2024.

The video can be found here.

Speaking about the track, vocalist Rich Stevenson has said:

“‘Born Into the Meat Grinder’ was inspired by the documentary Dominion. Although I had some awareness of the meat and dairy industry, it wasn’t until I watched the film that I truly grasped the harsh realities. I had wanted to write something that was pro-animal rights for a while, but Dead Flesh definitely felt like the right project for it, the track’s heaviness suited the weight of the lyrics well.”

The band have also announced they’ll be playing at this years Bloodstock Open Air on the New Blood Stage on Sunday, August 11th.

Speaking about their inclusion at Bloodstock drummer Michael “Nelly” O’Neill said:

“We’re thrilled to be invited to play Bloodstock! We’d like to say a big thank you to the team for trusting us with this spot, to everyone who voted for us, and finally we’d like to give a big shout out to the awesome bands we had the pleasure of playing with on this journey.”

2024 has been a productive year for the band. Earlier this year they signed with US-based management company Extreme Management Group, who also work with such luminaries as Suffocation, Misery Index, Cryptopsy, and Atheist.

Speaking about their signing, Nelly further said:

“EMG know their stuff. They’ve worked with, and are working with, some of the best names in extreme music. To sit alongside them and learn from the team as we grow is amazing. We’re excited to see what comes next.”

Dead Flesh are a five-piece deathcore band from Hertfordshire. Formed in 2021, the quintet come from an experienced background of musical talent and the ambition to bring their unique deathcore sound, hellish lyrics, and breakneck energy to a wide audience across the UK.

They released their first self-titled single ‘Dead Flesh’ in 2022, after working with Justin Paul Hill (SikTh), and became finalists in Hitchin’s Metal 2 the Masses, after less than a year of performing together. Going on to win the contest in 2024, securing their place at the festival.
