Any project featuring anything to do with Electric Callboy is going to peak interest right now. Here we have both Nico Sallach guesting and Danskimo heavily involved so you kind of know what to expect, and you’re not disappointed. We have the dance/metal crossover but this is a more rock based record, it’s a deep pan offering with no thin crust in sight. The kitsch is dropped in favour of a more hectic sound that pummels you into submission. The vocals mix clean and scream with a deft hand at the mix. The thing that really makes ‘You’re Hellcome’ a cut above is the groove they’ve managed to get into every track. So even at its heaviest it’ll still slay on a dance floor. We get a nice slice of synth too. It’s kept back in the mix but adds depth and variety when needed. Samurai Pizza Cats are a no pineapple topping, they’re a meat feat that deserve to be heard live. Let’s hope they decide to tour and aren’t just a home delivery.
