Rise – Arising Empire

We’re just gonna say it right off the bat, this is a band to watch as this debut album absolutely slaps. Rise is a mixed bag of sounds but we’re here for it! Heavily influenced by Nu Metal, rap, hip hop, 80s melodic rock with modern twists every song has so many elements to it and each stand alone. ‘BR4INFCK’ has a killer hook mixing melodic vocals with fast paced rap, guitars and electro stylings. It’s not everyday you hear a song seamlessly mixing rap, 80s rock influences with “bleghs!” and screamo vocals but in ‘Black Heart’ they somehow pull it off incredibly well. “Draw The Line” is shortlisted for Eurovision this year and for good reason. Fans of Linkin Park will absolutely love this offering. Without sounding like an imitation they bring the sound and energy of the era back with a vengeance and a brand new vibe. ‘Destiny’ also encapsulates the attitude and angst the 00s metal scene was so loved for, while keeping in tone with modern times and is certainly a stand out track. ‘The Cursed One’ reminds us of a heavier version of Kid Laroi with their lyrical style and pop edge. Likened to Annisokay and Electric Callboy, From Fall to Spring are another band hailing from Germany blasting onto the scene and are no doubt about to take the world by storm.
