Omnipresence – Self-Released

Vampiric sounding extreme metal playing A Fitting Revenge are not into damage limitation. ‘Omnipresence’ seeks and destroys the ears of metal fans everywhere. And also the vocal chords of those responsible for its creation. Possibly. This killer album is a loud screamathon of nonstop riffing and roaring, hammering and howling.  And the even better news is that ‘Omnipresence’ is the best album it can be. It is a record the band themselves want to listen to on repeat. Readers of a certain age will appreciate this sentiment. Have you ever bought an album back in the day to find it consisted of three decent tracks, and the rest of it was utter rubbish that you could have sung better yourself? And then for the whole sorry thing to somehow yield five singles???? This really happened though didn’t it?! Bad times. Yet in 2022 this is a distant memory thanks to bands like A Fitting Revenge, who respect music fans and give is what we want and, indeed, deserve. And you know how to say, ‘thank you’ don’t you? Listen to this beast.
