Divided We Fall

BLKIIBLK

Born from the mean streets of Brooklyn (in an age when New York was much more Taxi Driver) to say that Biohazard were a game changer would be an understatement. Marrying the lyrical realism of hardcore punk to the punch of groove metal, they kicked down walls and united fans of both genres. With their classic 1988 line-up reunited, the band return with their tenth studio album, Divided We Fall, a release that could rival their classic Urban Discipline opus and one that smokes like fresh kill. If there were any doubts about the band’s vitality then they’re put to rest by opening shot ‘Fuck The System’, a track that connects like a bullet between the eyes and proves that Biohazard’s fire is still burning bright. The likes of ‘War Inside Me’ are full of gnarly riffs, pounding drums and throat-shredding vocals and, no matter what obstacles you face in life, with Divided We Fall on your headphones you’ll plough right through them. Featuring eleven tracks that bristle with righteous indignation, Divided We Fall could teach the young pretenders a thing or two and suggests the kings have returned to claim their crown. Welcome back, guys!
