New single ‘Radio Bleed’ out the 29th August 2025.
Born on the unforgiving streets of Belfast, Northern Ireland, Survivalist have forged their identity in the fires of personal struggle, societal decay, and the fractured world around them. Through a unique sonic alchemy, the band transforms fear, frustration, anger, and despair into a sound that is unbowed, unbroken, and uncompromising — a relentless fusion of bulldozing grooves, titanic riffs, concussive breakdowns, and devastating vocals. They call it Groovecore.
Survivalist made their explosive debut with VII in 2021, a record that lit up the metal press with its unbridled passion and ferocity. The follow-up single Greater Negative earned BBC Radio airplay and further cemented their status as one of the most exciting new forces in extreme music. Onstage, their reputation has only grown, tearing up venues alongside Party Cannon, Polaris, Chelsea Grin, Suffocation, Atreyu, Kublai Khan, and more.
April 2025 saw Survivalist step into the national spotlight with a prime-time Channel 5 appearance, interviewed by Gaby Roslin and Ortis Deley. Now, they’re poised to take their next seismic step forward.
Their second album, A Place For Those Who Suffer, Alone…, has been announced, with lead single Deathbed — featuring Alex Koehler (Ameonna, ex-Chelsea Grin) — offering the first taste of what’s to come. On August 29th, they’ll unleash the devastating Radio Bleed, perhaps their most fiercely focused statement of defiance yet. Combining colossal weight, gut-punching power, and irresistible rhythm, Radio Bleed is a crushing, anthemic distillation of everything that makes Survivalist unmistakable.
Produced, mixed, and mastered by Josh Sid Robinson (Archives, Skullmaiden, Congenital Abnormalities), Radio Bleed sounds vital, vibrant, and downright dangerous. Metal Temple once predicted that Survivalist would “reach greater heights” — Radio Bleed is the sound of that prophecy fulfilled.
The Radio Bleed video — filmed with the help of Survivalist’s dedicated hometown fans at Belfast’s Bridges Urban Sports Park — captures the raw energy, unity, and unbreakable bond between the band and their supporters.
