News: Metal For Good Are Seeking Donations For The ‘Preloved Pit’ Charity Preloved Clothing Stall

A charity that uses the power of rock and metal to change lives is seeking donations of unwanted band merchandise and alternative clothing to help raise money this summer.

Fueled by the unstoppable energy of the metal community, Metal For Good fund projects that use music to improve mental health, unlock young potential, and amplify underrepresented voices – because metal is more than music, it’s a movement.

Metal For Good is calling on music lovers and alternative fashion fans across the UK to donate preloved and unwanted items to help stock The Preloved Pit — its hugely popular alternative clothing stall that raises funds for community projects using music to change lives.

From major music festivals to local events, The Preloved Pit has become a standout feature at events across the country, offering vintage and alternative clothing, band merch and accessories to music fans. All proceeds go directly to Metal For Good’s community grant programmes, supporting grassroots initiatives that use music as a force for positive social change.

Calling All Music Fans!

Metal For Good is seeking donations of gently used (or new-but-unwanted) items to keep The Preloved Pit stocked and thriving. Suggested items include:

  • Band merchandise (any genre): T-shirts, hoodies, patches, pins, scarves, hats, etc.
  • Alternative/goth/rock/metal clothing brands
  • Denim, leather, or faux fur jackets
  • Small music memorabilia: lanyards, backstage passes, vinyl, autographs, and collectibles

Wear and tear is no problem — as long as the items are clean, wearable, and usable, they can be given a new lease on life by someone who will love them.

Thanks to the support of Metal For Good’s amazing partner, Eyesore Merch, donations can now be received at their Nottingham warehouse.

“Eyesore is delighted to offer its help and support to the team at Metal For Good, furthering the work we started last year with the charity. By providing a collection hub for donations of unwanted merch, we are very pleased to play our part in helping raise money for the various organisations supported by Metal For Good, ensuring that grass roots creative projects get the support and finance they need.Dan Tobin – Eyesore Merch
