Words to live by of late, spat seriously yet soulfully by BrokenRail in ‘Nightmare’ – the second track of their already massive new album. ‘Beautiful Chaos’ has a hard rock, nu metal, stadium sound. Flanked by two angry axemen who play as if their lives depend on it, vocalist Blake Clawson continually sings and shouts his lungs from his chest. ‘Creatures’ will be a live favourite. ‘Patterns’ is shrill, shouty, wild and wow. Every single track would be as much at home on alt radio as it would be in a headline festival set. ‘Beautiful Chaos’ is heavy and hardcore, and gets the message across without being massively sweary. So you can use it to complement your kids’ home learning music lessons without the worry of any ‘new words’ being acquired. See you in the pit when BrokenRail are allowed over to tour this beaty.
