Review: Arknsaw – Vindicta EP

Arknsaw
Vindicta EP
Self released

Riotous metallers Arknsaw have been making quite a name for themselves of late. Their music is fast paced and pounding – just as you’d expect. It’s also well put together too which makes it memorable. ‘Vindicta’ is formed by an intro setting things up and four tracks proper. It’s obvious a lot of thought has gone into the storytelling making this a coherent work. The vocals are nicely layered ranging from full blooded throaty to clean which helps enhance the mood of the music at any given time. It’s on the finale ‘Ghosts’ that we get to see a bit of the soul of the group as the tempo shifts down a gear. This is where lesser acts would flounder, but not the midlanders, here is where they shine brightest. This is an introduction to a band that many metalheads will love.
