A Terrifying New Demonic Clown Horror is Coming from the Creators of The Jack in the Box Trilogy: GRIN.
From Dolls and Jack in the Boxes to Clockwork companions, Fowler Media are bringing back what they do best with their newest feature film, GRIN.
The new supernatural movie centred around a demonic clown that leaves a haunting smiling scar on its victim’s faces.
Set to shoot this Winter, Grin tells the story of Eva Finch’s family reunion, and their playing of a mysterious old board game called ‘Grin’. The group are led to believe the game has summoned a demonic entity that punishes those who have committed terrible sins. After a number of terrifying encounters with Grin, the players hiding a dark secret begin going missing one-by-one. Eva soon realises the game is more deadly than she could have ever imagined.
“The Jack In The Box” cinematic universe was a lot of fun to create, so it was natural for us to think about the other demons that exist in this crazy world. With GRIN we wanted to make its mythology darker, creepier and more focused on targeting specific people that have done wrong. This demon doesn’t kill for the sake of it, it hunts, torments and then kills those who it feels deserve it.” Writer Lawrence Fowler.
The film is set for a wide release first in South American theatres next Summer and then will be available to stream across the rest of the world in the Autumn.
