Death Pill

New Heavy Sounds
My god Death Pill are a tough band. Their first album was interrupted by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine which saw the three piece flung to all corners of the planet. But here we are in 2025 and the riot grrrls are back louder and harder than ever. This is visceral stuff from entry to exit. Critically it has razor sharp focus so it sounds right on point. The metal influences are strong here too. Crunching riffs, near grindcore levels of vocal intensity and guitar work that slays all before it, it will gain more than a few fans. The production is suitably sludge dirty. It makes the whole record feel like the band have been through it a bit, which they have. This is a fist pumping work of art that pulls zero punches and takes nada prisoners. It is everything it should be and so much more.
