Misery Loves Company festival returns announcing headliners The Hunna plus eight more acts
SWX and The Station, Bristol, 28th September
First UK rock festival with 50% female / non-binary line-up;
Promoting mental health awareness, diversity, inclusivity
Bristol-based multi-venue festival Misery Loves Company returns for a second year, following its hugely successful 2023 debut. Promoted by TEG Live Europe, the event with diversity and inclusivity at its core, has announced indie rock favourites The Hunna as headliners, plus eight more acts.
Also announced are: Employed To serve, Blackgold, Death Goals, Every Hell, Gen and the Degenerates, Knives, Noth Atlas and Saint Agnes, with many more to be announced soon.
To be held in SWX and The Station on 28th September, Misery Loves Company promises to once again be the major highlight in this year’s festival calendar and in the South West of the UK.
Improving diversity and tackling gender equality in the music industry is a major part of Misery Loves Company‘s mission. The 2023 line-up proudly boasted 52% of the acts having female and/or non-binary members, and over 50% of the acts will do so at the 2024 festival.
Raising awareness around mental health issues is a major part of the ethos. Misery Loves Company has once again partnered with Heads Above The Waves, a non-profit that raises awareness of depression and self-harm in young people.
Heads Above The Waves commented: “We’re so excited to get to team up with the Misery Loves Company gang again this year to continue to build on the foundation of last years event. There’s already some great plans coming together, and we’re so stoked that MLC has wellbeing at its very core. We’re all on the same page in that regard, and we’re looking forward to bringing an event together that’s going to help everyone from artists to the audience find healthy ways to keep their heads above the waves.”
Additional partners include Kerrang!, Metal For Good and Tickets For Good.
General admission tickets cost £45, with the pre-sale live from Thursday 18th April at 10am. Sign up here to save £5 on tickets: https://bit.ly/MISERY24
