Chapter One: With Fearful Velocity – Self released

Very much channelling the vibe originally brought to us by Jean-Michel Jarre and his ilk Palindrones have taken that immersive sound and made it darker but more poppy at the same time. Electro drum beats sit as the framework while dreamy synths form the flesh of this highly innovative album. The vocals add an extra layer with etherealness at their heart. Single ‘Samadhi’ has a slightly Bjorkish feel to it. While having one foot in the alternative world this is a record that isn’t confined to any time, place or importantly genre. You could play this almost anywhere where something chilled is in order and it would fit in perfectly while likely becoming a conversation piece too. This is mood music for when you’re not in any particular mood at all. Its aura soothes and calms, its darkness lets you inwardly vent. It’s a very personal album that everyone can enjoy. Let’s hope chapter two is just as good.
