The Moon City Masters
The Famous Moon City Masters – Self-Released
Looking like they’ve just stepped out of a salon, The Moon City Masters got the groove, the tunes and the style to make you look and listen twice. Damn, these hairy men sound like they’re having a good ol’ time. Guitar-wise if these Brooklyn based twins can’t play it, it’s probably not worth listening to – they are clearly very talented in the six string stakes. Musically, ‘The Famous Moon City Masters’ is not metal. It’s not doom. It’s none of the genres you’d expect to find on Devolution’s rota. But it is different from mainstream. It is alternative. And unless you’ve already been listening to some form of Bee Gees/Boston/Lynyrd Skynyrd hybrid, it is new and unexpected. Don’t let the fact that there are only two members of The Moon City Masters fool you either. Thanks to modern technology ‘The Famous Moon City Masters’ has a full band sound going on. And happiness is the eleven tracks that make it.
