O.M.G – Insane Records
‘O.M.G’ which stands for ‘Obscene Morbid Gore’ is the latest helping from the Swedish Industrial act ‘Against’. This E.P features six songs, two of which are remixed by Teknovore and DeathVerified. The sound is very reminiscent of The Murder Dolls if they were ever to play the club scene. Frederik Croonas’s guttural growling vocals and heavy guitars are an industrial rock dream. Thrown into the mix are electronic beats, you can easily envision some sweaty goth at a rave with melting corpse paint. Not something to play on a relaxing evening (although you may be inclined if that suits you) this is music to move to, suitable for the clubs and party atmosphere. The two remixes of ‘SCUM’ bring very different vibes; it’s difficult to pick a favourite when they bring different elements to the table. We’re looking forward to dancing to O.M.G at future club nights and festivals, DJs get this added to your roster and be guaranteed to see the crowd bounce.
