Asomvel
Set Your World On Fire
Self Released
No class, no chill, no chance to catch your breath. Fuck yes. ‘Set Your World On Fire’ is a pulverising pick n mix of grinding riffs, guttural vocals, rattling bass lines and fists in the air ferocity. Few bands can rock this hard and metal this fast, and with so much dedication. But then Asomvel aren’t exactly your average band. They’ve taken tragedy and turned it into tribute… with the volume turned not just as high as it’ll go, but so loud it’ll bother higher powers than us, mere mortals. Asomvel’s new one is noisy and gnarly. It takes aim and hits the target with song titles that let you know exactly where you stand before even pressing play – ‘If It’s Too Loud, You’re Too Old, ‘Light ’em Up’, ‘Back From The Dead (It’s Your Funeral)’. ‘Set Your World On Fire’? Asomvel aren’t threatening you. They’re making a promise.
