DC Sound Attack is proud to announce the much-anticipated event, Foodinati LIVE, set to take place on Saturday, 20th April, at the Devil's Dog in
Birmingham.

Inspired by the popular YouTube show FOODINATI UK
(https://youtube.com/@foodinatiuk?si=nzWUeFTx6Wnt7SRS) the event promises a unique fusion of culinary delights, live music, and captivating conversations with special guests from the Birmingham heavy music scene.

Conceived by the visionary collaboration of DC Sound Attack CEO, Dan Carter, and Foodinati Live owner, George Miller, the brainchild of these two passionate individuals is set to materialise into a spectacular event. Driven by their shared eagerness to unite the community, breathe life into the beloved YouTube show on a live stage, and revel in the essence of heavy music.

This special occasion promises an extraordinary experience for attendees.

The evening will feature exclusive appearances by renowned figures, including...

🤘🏻The legendary Bolt Thrower / DeathCollector drummer, Andy Whale and vocalist Kieran Scott

🤘🏻 Fast-rising Telford Metalcore band Recall The Remains.

Attendees will have the opportunity to delve into the stories of these musical icons, exploring their careers while savouring a variety of delectable dishes from the world of spices curated by Pip Bradley of Pips Hot Sauces.

Adding to the excitement, the stage will come alive with acoustic performances by
Progressive Metallers Netherhall, Birmingham rockers Straight For The Sun, and Nu Metallers @Nameless.

The combination of diverse musical genres ensures a night that caters to every taste, promising an unforgettable experience for all attendees.

In the spirit of giving back to the community, all profits from Foodinati LIVE will go towards the charity Metal For Good.

The night is completed with 601 DJing highlights from the metal releases of the past year.

Hot off the heels of their sophomore release ‘Carcinogenisis’ in 2023, Deathcore supergroup Viscera will set their sights on @thebullingdon_, Oxford this November.

Featuring former members of Heart of a Coward, Sylosis, Martyr Defiled, and Nervecell - Viscera is the epitome of heavy and a powerhouse of today’s extreme music. We cannot wait for what will be an era-defining set in @rabidfest’s history.

Viscera join @evileofficial as headliners of Rabidfest 2024 - and we couldn’t be more psyched to have two of the modern scene’s most exciting behemoths lay waste to Oxford this November. And our new line-up additions don’t end there…

@damaged.reich - After tearing down The Jericho at Bangers and Thrash last September, Oxford Thrash Metal Icons Damaged Reich securing their slot on Saturday’s Devolution Stage later this year at The Bullingdon.

@astheworlddies_ - From the spiritual home of Death Metal, emerge As The World Dies. Birmingham’s riff-machine quintet will be making their Rabidfest debut this November.

@ratseatrats - Oxford’s own Modern Rockers Rats Eat Rats will be opening Saturday’s Devolution Stage.

And of course, we’ll also be joined at Rabidfest 2024 by; #ClovenHoof, @furyoffic1al, @recalltheremains, @voidwalkeruk, @eschalonuk, @existentialist.uk, @draconianreign, @imperium_uk and @fromherashesuk across the weekend.

Proceeds of Rabidfest 2024 will be donated to the @sophie_lancaster_foundation - a cause who’s work resonates across metal and alt communities across the UK, for which we’re truly proud to once again support

We want give thanks and appreciation to EVERY single being who has and continues to support, offer encouragement, and get involved whether that is as a reader, as a contributor, a band or artist, a stockist, an advertiser, a label etc. and for allowing us to continue this remarkable adventure that we enjoy sharing with you.

We recently celebrated over four million views on our website that was only unleashed a few years ago and 2024 will see a few new launches making Devolution even more immersive moving forward.

What’s Your Damage?

With an aesthetic that conjures visions of vampire hunters in 1980’s Miami, No Worth Of Man have a sound that’s equally colourful, and after a Robocop-style introduction they get straight down to business with the hard-hitting ‘Into The Dirt’. With big chunky riffs, chest-thumping drums and gruff vocals, there’s a lot here to like and the band proceed to dish out the good stuff.
Operating as a three-piece ensures a tight unit and there’s a singularity of focus which channels all their energies into a finely honed laser beam. The result is a band who play with mechanicalprecision and this means cuts such as ‘An Unpaintable Soul’ go straight for the jugular, and then feed off the listener’s lifeblood. It all adds up to a huge, impenetrable wall of sound, and one
which threatens to topple over you at any moment. Setting the scene with a few choice samples, the band create a real sense of time and place and you can clearly visualise the characters who inhabit these songs, so much so that they seemed to have stepped out of a movie set. Heavy metal Miami Vice? You heard it here first!
